我的好朋友 I have a good friend named Li Hua. He is from China and we met in our school. We are both students, but he is in the eighth grade while I am in the ninth grade. His name means 'sunflower' in Chinese which is very pretty, so I think it's a great name for him. Our friendship started when we were in the first year of high school. We were both shy about making new friends, so we spent most of our time studying together. But we gradually became good friends, and I can remember how happy we were when we found out that we could be best friends. One day, Li Hua came to my home to visit me because he wanted to learn more about English. We had lunch together and then went for a bike ride on the weekend. During the bike ride, we talked about many different things, including our favorite hobbies and what we wanted to do in the future. It was really fun, and we spent a lot of time laughing and enjoying each other's company. After a few weeks of visiting each other's homes, Li Hua invited me to his house for tea. I was excited at first because it was my first time going to someone else's house, but I soon realized that it was not as scary as I thought. We sat down with cups of tea and chatted about everything under the sun, even though some topics were more difficult to talk about than others. But overall, I felt really comfortable there, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Li Hua has always been there for me, especially when I need someone to listen. One time, I got into a big argument with my parents because they did not want me to go to the party they were hosting. I was very angry and upset, but Li Hua was there for me, offering words of encouragement and helping me come up with a solution. It made me feel so relieved and grateful to know that he cared enough to stand by me. Another thing that makes me appreciate him even more is his kindness towards others. For example, he often gives his old clothes to people who cannot afford them, or helps clean the streets where he lives. He is truly a kind and helpful person who always puts everyone else's needs before his own. In conclusion, Li Hua is a wonderful friend who has brought so much joy and happiness into my life. Not only does he make me laugh and enjoy spending time together, but also through our shared experiences, I learned so much about being a better person. I am lucky to have him in my life and will continue to appreciate him for years to come.
